Yes. The app uses Xero’s default invoice template from your account. If you would like to make changes to the email, you can find out how to edit and more at https://central.xero.com/s/article/Change-edit-or-delete-email-templates.

Yes. Our app creates the invoice with each line item from your POS cart.

POS only at the moment. We have an expanded version for the website on the pipeline. We would love to hear from you about your requirements if this is something that you are interested in.

No. This app simply creates an invoice in Xero and credit note in Xero assigned to the selected customer. Collecting payments can be facilitated through Shopify.

The app requires access to invoices, credit notes and contacts. Contacts is how we allocate the invoices to a customers accounts in Xero.

Order assignment is facilitated through the provided email. If Shopify regards the email as ‘Invalid’ or if the email was missing from the account, then the order is created unassigned.

No. Unfortunately Xero’s developer platform does not allow this at the moment. But as soon as they do, it will be integrated into the app. To send a credit note, the current process is to send it from within the Xero platform itself.

No. The app does not affect the online store at all.

The Xero chart of accounts allows you to sort your transactions. Unfortunately we can’t tell you what the right account is as this may vary by organisation. To find out more check out https://central.xero.com/s/article/Chart-of-accounts-in-Xero.

This is up to how you would like to process the orders and the systems in your organisation. If you are collecting payments from Xero, than it is easier to mark the order as paid in Shopify automatically and concentrate on the outstanding balance in Xero. If you would like to collect payment through Shopify, than leave the orders as unpaid.

Yes. Depending on the customisation we can add features specifically for your store. There may be a charge depending on whether other stores would also benefit from the change.
